I have five kids and no village.
So I built one.

I'm a mom of five — ages 1 to 17. On paper, I should have this figured out by now. But somewhere between the school runs, the nap schedules, the teenager who needs a ride at 10pm, and the toddler who just needs someone to show up — I realized I was doing all of it completely alone.

I didn't need one village. I needed five different ones, all at once. A trusted sitter who could handle a baby. Playdate connections for kids at every age. A mom friend who wouldn't flinch when I said "it's a lot." And last-minute care that didn't require three days of planning.

I kept hearing "it takes a village" — but nobody built the app for that. Every platform was either for paid strangers or social media pretending to be community. Nothing was real. Nothing was local. Nothing was built for the actual chaos of family life.

So I built it myself. Raised Village is what I needed and couldn't find — a trust-based, hyperlocal community for parents who want real connections, real playdates, and real people to call when life gets hard. Starting right here in Cook, Lake, and McHenry County, because your village should be close enough to actually show up.
